funny spring haiku de printemps rigolo ! – Argentée, Maine Coon

Argentée, Maine Coon,
who’s out on a limb? ... pas moi!
I can change its gears

argentee changing gears

Argentée, Maine Coon,
sur une branche? ... pas moi !
je change de vitesse
Richard Vallance

My Maine Coon’s name is Argentée, which means “Silvery” in English. I took this photo in April 2004, when she was just 2 years old.

Ma Maine Coon s’appelle Argentée. J’ai pris cette photo en avril 2004, quand elle avait seulement deux ans.

Why thank you, Rita! I hope you will repost this cute haiku on your site!

Sappho, spelled (in the dialect spoken by the poet) Psappho, (born c. 610, Lesbos, Greece — died c. 570 BCE). A lyric poet greatly admired in all ages for the beauty of her writing style.

Her language contains elements from Aeolic vernacular and poetic tradition, with traces of epic vocabulary familiar to readers of Homer. She has the ability to judge critically her own ecstasies and grief, and her emotions lose nothing of their force by being recollected in tranquillity.
