senryu – if androgynous = si androgène

if androgynous
neither male nor female
are you angelic?

si androgène
si ni mâle ni femelle
es-tu angélique ?

Richard Vallance

composite photos/female left and male right, so similar it is difficult to distinguish between them. So are androgenous people are more evolved than ordinary humans? Are they human or angels among us?

montage photographique/ femelle à gauche, mâle à droit, si similaires qui'il est difficile de distinguer la différence. Est-ce que ceux qui sont androgènes sont plus évolués que les humains ordinaires ? Est-ce qu'ils/ qu'elles sont humains ou des anges parmi nous ?

Sappho, spelled (in the dialect spoken by the poet) Psappho, (born c. 610, Lesbos, Greece — died c. 570 BCE). A lyric poet greatly admired in all ages for the beauty of her writing style.

Her language contains elements from Aeolic vernacular and poetic tradition, with traces of epic vocabulary familiar to readers of Homer. She has the ability to judge critically her own ecstasies and grief, and her emotions lose nothing of their force by being recollected in tranquillity.

Marble statue of Sappho on side profile.
